Kinetics Corporation established in May 1986 by Dr.Somchai Uapipatanakul, the current Managing Director, with obvious vision of national development based on modern technologies and environmental awareness.

Six principal business directions were identified, namely.

The company grows steadily over the years and currently has a workforce of engineers, scientists, and accountant/ financial people

History

1986 : Establishment with capital 1,000,000 THB.

1997 : Moved to new premises at Elephant Tower and increased capital to 40,000,000 THB

1998 – 2000 : Won World Bank project for supply of equipments to universities and Ratchamongala University of Technology; total value approx. 5.5 million USD.

2000 : Received ISO 9001:2000 accreditation from BVQI, UKAS.

2001 : Won JBIC (Japan Bank for International Corporation) projects for supply of equipments to Chulalongkorn University; total value approx. 3.14 million USD. Start to manufacture first educational engineering products.

2004 : Received ISO IEC/17025 accreditation from TIST (Thailand Industrial Standard Institute)

2004 – 2006 : Won and complete Wind Tunnel project for Royal Thai Air Force Academy total value 2.65 Million USD.

2007 : Exported Kinetics Educational Engineering products to Greece, Nigeria, Pakistan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Jordan and Ireland. Received an award for Corporate Good Governance from Bank of Thailand.

2008 : Received KTB – SMEs award for energy and nvironmental conservation excellence.
