Microbiological Air Sampler
The very familiar “yellow SAS (Surface Air System)” is considered the international standard for portable air microbiological samplers. Over 25 years experience has been gained in five continents helping microbiologists in the pharmaceutical and food industry, hospital sector and indoor air quality fields. Experience has also been gained from space exploration as the SAS (Surface Air System) was used on board the International Space station.

Sorbent Tube
Sorbent tube sampling is the NIOSH/OSHA approved method for collecting most hazardous gases and vapors from the air. Federal law has established permissible exposure limits (PELs) for workers' exposures to a variety of airborne chemical hazards. These limits are specified in several ways: eight-hour Time-Weighted Averages (TWAs), Short-Term Exposure Limits (STELs) and Ceiling values. Eight-hour TWA limits are specified for full-shift exposures. STELs are usually issued as 15 minute exposure limits and Ceiling values are issued as peak levels not to be exceeded at any time during the working day. Sorbent tubes have been established as a reliable tool for each of these sampling requirements.
Impingers
Midget Impingers are Pyrex glass bubble tubes designed for the collection of airborne hazards into a liquid medium. When using a personal air sampler, a known volume of air bubbles is pumped through the glass tube that contains a liquid specified in the method. The liquid is then analyzed to determine airborne concentrations. An impinger may be mounted on the side of an air sample pump or put into a holster and placed near a worker's breathing zone.
Castle Group
Vibration Meter
The Vibration System contains the GA2005, Excieo Vibration Meter, accelerometers, cables, software and kit case and, as such comprises everything required for the assessment of Hand-Arm vibration to the ‘Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005’. The GA2005 has the ability to measure Hand-Arm and Whole-Body Vibration (sensor not included in this kit!) with all the relevant filters. It also has the ability to measure vibration for a much wider range of applications. It has large data-logging capabilities with the option of recording time-histories. This rugged instrument is also incredibly simple to use with good battery life and fast download to a PC via USB.
Features
Sound Level Meter
The Castle Groups range of sound level meters provides an excellent, high quality way to measure noise and create a detailed look at assessments and risk evaluation. The range of meters can be used in industrial, environmental or noise at work settings and each kit has been put together to create the ideal solution to monitoring and measuring accurate noise levels.
Features
Vibrock Vibration Meter
Seismograph
Vibrock seismograph specification is the same as that of the field portable unit but have Impulse mode for blast monitoring, Continuous mode for piling, rail and road traffic monitoring, Tri-axial geophone sensor - Option for second tri-axial sensor.
Features
Delta OHM
pH and Conductivity Meter
The pH and Conductivity Meter is a multiparameter portable instrument and datalogger for electrochemical measurements: pH, conductivity, dissolved Oxygen and temperature. It is fitted with a large backlit LCD display.
Features
Lux Meter
The Lux Meter is portable instruments with a large LCD display. They measure illumination, luminance, PAR and irradiance (across VIS-NIR, UVA, UVB and UVC spectral regions or in the measurement of effective irradiance according to the UV action curve).
The probes are fitted with the SICRAM automatic detection module: in addition to detection, the unit of measurement selection is also automatic. The factory calibration settings are already memorized inside the instruments. In addition to instantaneous measurement the instruments calculate the acquired measurements time integral Q(t). Some thresholds can be associated with the integrated measurement and with the integration time, which can be set in the menu. When exceeded these thresholds cause the instrument to stop the integral calculation.
Features
Sound Level Meters
An integrating portable sound level meter perform-ing statistical analyses. The instrument has been designed combining price competitiveness and simplicity of use. Attention has been paid to the possibility of updating the instrument.
Features
Heat Stress : WBGT
A product is designed for analysis of hot environments through WBGT index (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) in presence or absence of solar radiation and analysis of moderate environments through PMV index (Predicted Mean Vote) and PPD index (Predicted Percentage of Dissatisfied).
Features
RAE Systems
RAE: Portable Handheld VOC Monitor
The MiniRAE 3000 is the most advancedhandheld volatile organic compound(VOC) monitor on the market. Its photoionization detector’s (PID) extended range of 0 to 15,000 ppm makes it an ideal instrument for applications from industrial hygiene to leak detection and HazMat.
